Description:
Chihuahua is the largest state in Mexico. It shares
a long stretching border with the US states of Texas and New
Mexico. The border crossing point between El Paso, Texas and
Ciudad Juarez is one of the major entry ways into Mexico.
Chihuahua is known for its rugged and desolate beauty. One
of the most popular tourist destinations is the Copper
Canyon which is located in the southwestern portion of
the state. The canyon complex is almost four times larger
than the Grand Canyon! The Copper Canyon area is also the
native lands of the Tarahumara
Indians - who have managed to preserve much of their native
culture.
