June 1st - Navy Day - also known as Dia De La Marina in Manzanillo - home of Mexico's Pacific fleet. This is a day to recognize the importance of the Mexican naval forces throughout the country's proud history. All ports along the coastline celebrate the day to varying degrees.
June 3rd - 5th - 43rd Annual Tecate SCORE Baja 500 - world-famous offroad race that traverses northern Baja. The course begins and ends in Ensenada and brings in competitors from all over the globe.
June 3rd - 13th - Feria de Corpus Christi - Feast of Corpus Christi - this tradition was formally started by the Catholic Church back in the 1200s and begins 60 days after Easter. This event is celebrated to commemorate the institution of the Holy Eucharist.
June 19th - Dia Del Padre - this is the nationwide celebration of Father's Day in Mexico. Always celebrated on the third Sunday in June, this day is meant to honor and recognize the importance of fathers and fatherhood in society.
June 19th - Dia de los Locos - Day of the Crazy People - this is a celebration specific to the city of San Miguel de Allende. This city is known for its numerous fiestas and parades. This particular day is a melding of both a religious and pagan celebration harking back to the 17th century and includes music, dancing and can get fairly loud and festive.
June 24th - Fiesta de San Juan Bautista - St John the Baptist - a day set out to recognize one of the more important figures in Christian history.
June 29th - Dia de San Pedro y San Pablo - St Peter and St Paul's Day
- a day to feast and celebrate the sainthood and martyrdom of these two
important Christian followers.
