Rosarito is the perfect place to park the car and just walk around town.
The multitudes of shops feature a wide variety of Mexican crafts such as handcrafted
furniture, ceramics, jewelry, and other charming knickknack type items.
The taco stands and restaurants are abundant, serving up delicious fish tacos,
lobsters, and other favorite Baja cuisine. There are also a number of festive
open-air cantinas to relax in along the beaches which often have a 'Spring Break'
feel to them due to the many college aged visitors who frequent Rosarito Beach.
Other activities include horseback riding on the beach, fishing, and there
are some well known surf beaches just to the south of town. The Rosarito to Ensenada
Bike Ride is an annual event which usually takes place in the in the late summer
or early fall. Another point of interest is "Titanic" filming
location which Fox Studios has turned into a museum. A major portion of "Titanic"
was filmed at this location during 1996. Rosarito
