XM Satellite Radio Works in All of Baja

XM radio works in Baja

Satellite radio works great throughout all of northern and southern Baja!

I just returned from a road trip from Tijuana to Cabo San Lucas, and I am pleased to report that my XM Satellite car radio got perfect reception through all of Baja. There were only a few dead zones that lasted a minute or two, and those only went dead on a few channels while other stations came in strong.

I happen to enjoy listening to Grateful Dead concerts while on road trips, so it was really a pleasure being able to enjoy the Grateful Dead channel (57) while trucking through the magical and mystical Baja landscapes.

If you can only tolerate Mexican radio stations for an hour or so - then I highly recommend installing a satellite radio for your next Baja road trip. The satellite radio stations are commercial free as well, so you don't have to suffer through any annoying commercials.

If you want to catch up on the news headlines, there are also some American news channels you can pull up 24 hours a day.

XM satellite radio costs between $10-$15 a month, but it is well worth it if you enjoy the music (you can stream it for free on your computer as well). Geez, I sound like an XM Radio salesman. While I am at it - here is their link: www.xmradio.com
